Bass Guitars

The bass guitar is a stringed instrument that provides the low-end foundation in most musical genres. It typically has four strings (though five- and six-string versions exist), tuned an octave lower than a regular guitar (E-A-D-G). Played with fingers or a pick, the bass guitar bridges rhythm and harmony by locking in with the drums to drive the groove of a song. It usually has a longer neck and scale length compared to a standard guitar, allowing for deeper tones. Bass guitars can be electric or acoustic, with the electric version being more common in modern music. It's an essential instrument in bands, adding depth, rhythm, and musical structure to compositions.
